听張卓映雪師母与張寧慈教士見證有感

這是复活節的主日，有机會听到張卓映雪師母与張寧慈教士感人淚下的見證分享，心里想到的第一句經文就是約翰福音12章24節，“我實實在在地告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地里死了，仍舊是一粒。若是死了，就結出許多子粒來 ”。耶穌 （一粒种籽）為世人的罪而被釘死在十字架上, 三日后复活，拯救凡信靠跟隨他的子民（結出許多子粒）。張雨與卓映雪師母以耶穌的大使命為己任，無懼死亡，在這蠍子， 毒蛇、老鼠出沒，窮鄉僻壤的泰北，成立泰北新生命福音戒毒中心，先后建立九間教會﹐自己建農場，為許多孩子設立學校。“身上常帶著耶穌的死，使耶穌的生也顯明在我們身上 ”（林后四10）。張師母講到這次面對醫治癌症的過程，心中充滿平安。回想泰北宣教十几年中，与死亡相遇了好几回，全身被毒蠍螫了四次，匪徒槍擊，黑夜被劫，被毒蛇咬等等，神跡顯明在她身上， 使她大難不死。正是這一完全擺上，完全付出，把生命完全交在神手中，死都不怕，還有什麼好怕的心志，神借著他們的服事，使眾多生活在毒窟的無望的人們得著新生命（結出許多子粒）。這正應驗主耶穌在約翰福音12章25-26 節的一句話：“愛惜 自 己 生 命 的 、 就 失 喪生 命． 在 這 世 上 恨 惡自 己 生 命 的 、 就 要 保 守 生 命 到 永生 。 若 有 人 服 事 我 、 就 當 跟 從我 ． 我 在 那 裡 、 服 事 我 的 人 、 也 要 在 那 裡 ． 若 有 人 服事 我 、 我 父 必 尊 重 他”。

張寧慈教士講到一個小女孩与57 Cents 的故事讓我印象深刻。我在网上把這故事原文下摘如下。神用一個小女孩獻出的57 Cents為開始，最后成就了一間可容3300人的教會和一所大學。寧慈教士深受這小女孩的故事感動，願意為湄公河六國(中﹐ 緬﹐ 泰﹐ 寮﹐ 柬﹐ 越) 的異象完全擺上自己。宗教改革家馬丁路德說：“耶穌复活的應許，不僅寫在圣經里，也在春天的每一片葉子里”。耶穌复活的大能不僅張顯在每一個宣教士的身上﹐ 也張顯在他們踏上的每一塊土地和那裡的人們的身上。

57 Cents

A sobbing little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it "was too crowded." "I can't go to Sunday School," she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by. Seeing her shabby, unkempt appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking her by the hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday school class. The child was so happy that they found room for her, that she went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship Jesus. Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement buildings and the parents called for the kindhearted pastor, who had befriended their daughter, to handle the final arrangements. As her poor little body was being moved, a worn and crumpled purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged from some trash dump. Inside was found 57 cents and a note scribbled in childish handwriting which read, "This is to help build the little church bigger so more children can go to Sunday school. For two years she had saved for this offering of love. When the pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked, red pocketbook to the pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion. He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger building. But the story does not end there! A newspaper learned of the story and published it. It was read by a realtor who offered them a parcel of land worth many thousands. When told that the church could not pay so much, he offered it for 57 cents. Church members made large donations. Checks came from far and wide. Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00--a huge sum for that time (near the! turn of the century). Her unselfish love had paid large dividend. When you are in the city of Philadelphia, look up Temple Baptist Church, with a seating capacity of 3,300 and Temple University, where hundreds of students are trained.

Have a look, too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday School building which houses hundreds of Sunday Schoolers, so that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday school time. In one of the rooms of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history. Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russel H. Conwell, author of the book, "Acres of Diamonds" A true story, which goes to show WHAT GOD, CAN DO WITH 57 cents.
